Visiting this website

The website does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not set cookies or store analytics identifiers in your browser. Like any internet service, the website’s hosting and security infrastructure may process connection and request data, such as your IP address, the time of a request, and the requested page, to deliver and protect the service. The website deployment does not define the retention period for those infrastructure logs; it is managed by the hosting and proxy operators. We are confirming the applicable production settings and do not represent those logs as covered by the API telemetry retention period below.

Downloads and anonymous download counts

When you choose a download, the website records the selected platform and release to produce aggregate download counts. The event contains no account, cookie, device identifier, or browser session identifier. The website sends the event server-to-server to the Revus API; the API stores its own event creation time. Raw download and desktop telemetry events are deleted when they are more than three calendar months old. Cleanup runs when the API starts and every 15 minutes while it is running. The download remains available if telemetry is unavailable.

Optional desktop telemetry

The desktop app asks before enabling optional telemetry; it is off unless you opt in. Depending on the app version, events may include app lifecycle, update, or error signals, along with app version and operating-system platform metadata. Events use random event and session identifiers for delivery and duplicate prevention. They are not intended to contain repository contents, file paths, remote URLs, branch names, commit data, account identifiers, or hardware identifiers. You can turn telemetry off in the app; the app’s privacy controls describe how locally queued events are handled.

Support, email, and external services

If you email us, we use the message and contact details to respond and provide support. Please do not send credentials, private keys, or repository secrets. Messages are kept while needed to handle the request and may be retained longer where required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If you open GitHub or another download destination, that provider receives your request under its own privacy notice; those services are not controlled by Revus.

Legal basis and recipients

We process service and security data to operate, maintain, and protect the website and downloads. Optional desktop telemetry is sent only after you opt in. Data may be handled by the infrastructure providers needed to host the website, API, database, and release artifacts; those providers process data only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Your choices and rights

You may choose not to enable optional app telemetry and may contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where those rights apply. You may also complain to your data-protection supervisory authority. Contact us at [email protected] to make a request or ask a privacy question. We may need enough information to verify and respond to a request, but do not send identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary.
